Semiminiature. Small pink stars with lilac-blue fantasy.
The leaves are dark green, elongated, pointed, smooth, with a bronze-golden-red crown variegation. The top layer of leaves can be all golden-pinkish. The variegation may disappear at an adult rosette. The socket is neat, even. The leaves are slightly drooping due to the large number of tiers. Rosette size 16-20 cm in diameter.
Double and semi-double pale pink stars with abundant lilac-bluish streaks and fantasy stripes. Flowers up to 3.5 cm.
Flowering is frequent and abundant. There are up to seven flowers on the peduncle. In different growing conditions, strong flower stalks can be both short and long, slightly falling on the rosette.
Propagates well from leaf cuttings, blooms quickly. On wick watering, the rosette may slightly increase in size. Can produce sports with solid blue, lilac, light blue or pink colors.
Andromeda (ancient Greek) is the daughter of the Ethiopian king Cepheus and Cassiopeia in Greek mythology.
