Thumbnail. For a long time, the variety was simply called Madeline. Now the correct name is Fay's Madeleine. Simple Intense pink with more intense center flowers and crisp white-green border.

Dark green, round girl foliage with a wavy scalloped edge. Neat round rams of warm dark green leaves with a yellow spot at the base form a dense, succulent-type rosette, beautiful and without flowers.

Young leaves may appear curlier than those of older specimens. The leaves are very beautiful curly and seem openwork, but you have to periodically straighten the leaves. They can cling to each other and then grow clumsy. The leaf shape may change throughout the life of the plant. When you look at the outlet, it is difficult to understand where is one sheet, and where is the other, and where are the scallops. Tiny curly and dense rosette of 7-9 cm.

Single and semi-double duotone pink flowers. The eye is slightly darkened. The first blooms were much paler, over time the flowers become larger and brighter, a border appears on them. The flowers are not large, the largest is 2.5 cm in diameter. Pretty cool pink flowers become larger and brighter by the second or third bloom.

The border on the petals is unstable and depending on the temperature: when it gets cold it becomes wider, sometimes at such moments a slight green appears on it. Peduncles are colored cinnamon-pink, very tall, highly branched, always sticking up vertically, not leaning towards the foliage. Flowering is abundant, quite frequent and long. Peduncles are tall and strong. Each peduncle has 4-5 flowers that last a long time.

A chameleon variety that changes flower color and foliage from bloom to bloom. Even the same rosette blooms one way or another, changes the shape of the foliage, blooms differently each time, and the foliage transforms, almost depending on the season.

Under adverse conditions, the foliage turns into a banal curly gel foliage, but as soon as the rosette is put in order (transplanted into fresh soil, lower the temperature, etc.), a miracle happens - the foliage again takes the form of neat rounded rams.

Relatively easy to grow. It grows relatively slowly, but practically does not stepchild and does not grow out. A transplant is required on average once a year. Mature rosettes are best grown in the "five" - in larger pots, the roots can rot, especially when kept on a traditional top watering.

This variety needs intense lighting to set buds. She doesn't really like artificial lighting. It turns out that where she was grown on the windowsill, she bloomed earlier and better.

Pups of this variety are extremely curly. Therefore, if more than one has formed, you need to plant them in time so that young plants do not interfere with each other in development.
