Dean's Rosalie (Hobbs-Gregg, K.)

Miniature. Fluffy pink two-tone flower with raspberry dusting in the center. Dark green foliage with white on the underside.

This little beauty has the peculiarity of blooming in a way that the flowers almost completely cover the rosette. The flowers are large - up to 3.5 cm, larger than the leaf blade. The flower stalks are tall enough, sturdy, with 3 to 7 buds on each. Blooms abundantly even on starters. Blooms frequently.

The flowers have a pleasant pink color, with raspberry dusting of varying intensity in the center of the flower. In cool conditions, there may be a greenish edge on the newly bloomed flowers, which later disappears.

The rosette is small, neat with rows of leaves on short stems, which makes the leaves lie like bricks. Variegation is not very pronounced, with a thin white-pink stripe along the edge of the leaf blade, but it is well noticeable on the dark green foliage.

The variety propagates well and quickly by cuttings, almost does not produce suckers. It grows fast, the first bouquet of flowers can be seen within 3-4 months after planting pups. No sports observed, it's a stable variety. It grows well both in top watering and on a wick. It doesn't increase much in size on the wick, maintaining a beautiful dense rosette.
